Power Health Products
Rebranding
Power Health have been manufacturing Health Food supplements, sports nutrition and natural hair and skin care products since 1972.
I joined their team as an in-house designer in 2007, where I took on many projects from packaging design to marking and web.
After working with them it became clear that constancy through their materials was low.
I teamed up with the Marketing Manager to help bring Power Health back up-to-date giving them a fresh new brand.
Project involvement:
Brand design • Brand guidelines • Stationery • Marketing materials • Adobe CC and Microsoft Office templates • Website design • Product packaging • Product photography • EDM design • Developed a cost effective printing solution
It’s great to see a lot of hard work come together and really pay off. The new branding looks so modern and consistant through all our materials, which is somthing we’ve never had.
Combined with the new packaging and print solution, Power Health has a new lease of life which I can see lasting for many years to come!

Power Health Products
Packaging
The main product lines were divided into 5 categories. Each were assigned a bold colour which wraps around one corner of the label. The pots were also changed to match the Power Health red, and gold lids where applied. Along with a relative image and clean layout, the packaging is unique and easy for customers to spot on a busy shelf.
Food supplement label regulations change often. We needed a way to print short label runs and have the opportunity to change label copy quickly and efficiently, all while keeping the high quality look of the new packaging.
The solution was to have the main 5 categories of labels printed professionally without any copy applied. We would then overprint the product name, copy and barcoding in-house using a thermal wax printer. This gave us the cost effective solution of ordering large print runs for the main part of the label but over-print smaller batches, reducing waste and giving us short printing times.
The new branding was also applied to other product ranges, giving everything a uniformed overall look and feel.
